THE SACRED ORDINARY

Meaning is not always found in the moments we try to hold onto, but in the ones that quietly hold us. It is the way the light falls on a flower, an object left in its place, the doorways in and out of life that carry traces of presence, of absence, and of the passing of time.

I paint the details that form the backdrop of a life. The moments often overlooked while we are living it, yet charged with significance when we return to them in memory.

My work focuses on time and transition, using ordinary elements as the threshold to memories. The viewer is invited to find a connection to their own experiences through the beauty of the ordinary.
